Friends

I have found a whole new group of internet friends all over the world based on a blog started by Laura, the very creative mini album designer I found on youtube.  I started the mini albums because they are so easy to theme and finish. And I have most of the stuff I need to finish them.  I am using up my stash.   The longest one takes is about a week.  I have now made albums in the shape of a house, a coffin (a spooky Halloween one), and three themed around Maria.  She is going to be so much fun to scrapbook.  Look at this adorable face.  What's not to love.  Well, the cows are mooing, I'd better get to feeding them.

Halloween is Coming

Dear Maria, Cassie and I are starting to get ready for Halloween. We made this Trick or Treat Tree. Do you like it? It has candy in the bags. I don't know if you can eat candy yet--maybe next year. I'll have to find a baby cookie for you this year. Next project is your Halloween costume. You are going to love, love, love it. Love, Grandma

Lucky me--Long stemmed roses

As I was trimming my roses I noticed I had two beautiful long stemmed roses. I just had to bring them inside. Here is what they look like.

Look, No Grass

Dear Maria, I've been having a little trouble with the blog lately, so here goes. This is the thrid time I've tried to get this blog on. Remember the yucky looking grassy area that I have been working at, well now it looks like this! Hooray!

The Rose Arbor

Dear Maria, Remember the picture of Grandma and the grass, well, this is what it looks like now. We had almost lost all grass until the big rains started and then in no time there was grass everywhere. Imagine that! Love you, Grandma
